Goodwill of North Georgia is helping North Georgians find jobs. For more than 90 years, they've collected donated goods and sold those items to shoppers in their stores. Money collected from sales is used to provide job training and job placement services free of charge for tens of thousands of North Georgians.
Their efforts help those who need a job, want a better job or want to get training for a new career. They work with all North Georgians including youth, veterans, returning citizens, people with disabilities. Last year alone, they helped put 25,688 North Georgians to work. Today they're working with several companies such as Kroger, Publix, Walmart and Amazon to connect them with Goodwill job seekers.
Job seekers are encouraged to visit their virtual career center or call 844.344.WORK (9675) for one-on-one job search support from their career coaches.
In the spirit of goodwill, you can also make a monetary donation to support job training programs and services for those who in need of employment during and after this pandemic. For the latest information on Goodwill of North Georgia's coronavirus response and store hours, please visit online.
